Wow that would be fairly big then? Just comparing the chunk of 16316 JPL I have in front of me and imagining the bobble on the end. How big is the sphere? I think people would buy those :)

It's only a little over an inch wide. The sphere in the center is roughly 7/8 inch. And yes, people do buy them, although one made from nickel silver with rose quartz in the center is the most popular. :)

You could hurt someone with that thing... Very nice! :D

Does kind of resemble a mace doesn't it? Fortunately it's not a big as perhaps the angle and lighting make it appear. It does have some heft to it though from the steel and the stone.

But I'll think of your comment if I ever am attacked late at night and hit them over the head with my keychain!
