The full project on a mannequin in all it's Glory

I'm extremely happy with how this finished off. The vest itself is tailored to me with 11 contractions and the whole things weighs a beastly 42lbs in all.

Some overall materials in the vest.

~Approx 3000 scales~

~600 Galvanized steel large scales

~1200 Mild steel large scales

~1200 High carbon steel large scales

~Approx 8800 16G 5/16ID rings

~7000 Stainless steel rings

~800 Stainless steel split-rings

~1000 galvanized steel rings

~The cloak has welded 1.5" and 2" rings simply for aesthetics. The pins holding it on are connected to the rings.

~Its difficult to see, but the Tasset is made from 20G mild steel plate. Drilled and ringed together with 16G 5/16ID rings on a leather belt. There are also two sheets of 14G 1/2ID European 4-in-1 weave behind the plates that wrap around the hips meeting in the rear.
