I split my time between Edmonton AB and New York NY, though I cart my pliers and rings around with me wherever I happen to go.
I started working with wire about three years ago, trying to find a hobby that would satisfy my crafting itch, without the inherent frustration I get with fabric and yarn. From wire wrapping, I moved to cutting my own rings for weaving (first with a jeweler's hacksaw and then with a little Dremel,) and then to ordering from TRL. I work mostly with stainless steel, and have found my niche making custom inlaid dice bags for tabletop gamers.
In addition to weaving chainmaille, I watch a lot of movies (Netflix has all but ruined my social life,) play D&D, and hang around with Warhammer aficionados.
