I do understand the frustration with what happened today. In the interest of full transparency, there was a website issue that triggered a false restock of this product. We understand how this impacts you as a customer. We will continue to monitor the situation and attempt to determine the root cause of this issue.
We want to make sure the experience of being a customer with The Ring Lord is will continue to improve going forward. At this time, I would love to share some good news with you!!
Our team has been working very hard to locate a new supplier that will be able to produce this product quicker, better, and in smaller batches. Our goal here is to make sure we provide the best possible product to our customers that we can maintain “In Stock”.
We have succeeded to locate a new supplier that met our criteria earlier this year. An added advantage the supplier was local. This means our original lead time of march will be shortened to mid-February. There is always the possibility we could get some product back sooner than mid-February. If the products are available sooner, we will make sure our customers are able to order the moment we have it.
The new supplier offers oil treated (our current product) and sealed rings. The sealed rings have a better-looking and cleaner finish. This product right out of the bag has less rub-off vs oil treated and looks closer to our anodized aluminum black rings. Now If there is still demand for the oil treated rings, we will investigate stocking them as a separate product.
As you can imagine, being able to run smaller runs means we can stay in stock and start expanding the line in the future.
