    Square Rings and Weaves

http://itsinthemaille.com/new-square-wire-ring-uses/ C & T Designs has some square rings listed for some weaves. You can also do a search on MAIL for square rings and find some suggested rings sizes for various weaves.

Supplier for large gauge Niobium wire

I looked at the list. The only one that seemed to actually sell niobioum wire was Reactive Metals... which I already knew about.

"flatback" + "faceted" are the words it sounds like you need to search for. http://www.etsy.com/listing/77387330/oval-18x25-mirror-glass-cabochon-cab?ref=sr_gallery_9&sref=&ga_includes%5B0%5D=tags&ga_search_query=flat+back+crystals&ga_page=7&ga_search_type=all&ga_facet=

    HP3-1S6 curving?

This tutorial really helped me. http://www.mailleartisans.org/articles/articledisplay.cgi?key=27869 It's also possible that the black AA has a smaller AR than the other rings (the black layer might be thicker than the other colors)and is causing the curve.

Wire Wrapepd Gem Pendants. How and Where

That magazine is no longer published, but you can purchase back issues on the "secure order" page. It is an excellent publication with very clear, step by step instructions and pictures. Unfortunately, the wire-wrapping community is not as forthcoming with their process as the chainmaille community is. It's very rare to find free, well written instructions on that craft.

Wire Wrapepd Gem Pendants. How and Where

The Oct. 2004 and July 2002 issues of Wire Artist Jeweler both have good tutorials for faceted gems with pointy backs like you have there. http://www.wirejeweler.com/backissues_2004.html

    Ringinator Issues (Still)

It has been my experience so far that blade speed is quite important when cutting niobium. Anything much faster than 200 RPM leads to over-heating (no matter how much lubrication you apply) and the blade bogging down in the coil and refusing to cut anymore. Also, don't push the coil through harder than the blade "wants" to cut it.
