Okay, steel does fight back - A new person.

@Konstantin the Red Thanks! Great tip and that's one mistake I'm doing. I've been using needle nose pliers and it's been killing my hands. Lol

I salute you guys that create such huge projects. I know it takes patience. Over the month I've gotten faster but I still find that it takes me easily 3-4 hours to make a 8" bracelet. What you guys think? This is a box chain style using the 2+2 method.

Good idea. Plus you never know. It might catch the eye of the right person that might be willing to buy one from you. That is if your willing to create another one for the right one. Or sell the one off your back ;-)

Gotcha. Well not sure if it will be for yourself or to sell but if you do sell make sure you charge a pretty penny. The material might be cheap but the labor is what will be the bulk of the price. I have seen Persian style bracelets (very similar to the box chain bracelets I make) go for $90. And your making a shirt so..

Wow and I was complaining on how long it takes me just to make a bracelet.. lol.. Do you do it in one sitting or over the span of a few days?

By the way what are you making?

Thanks. I usually make beaded jewelry and always wanted to challenge myself and make something that 100,000 other people are not doing on social media. I like Robs video technique on closing the hoops. I will try that. I already can tell that if you go pass the closed mark that it usually will slightly bend back in its place on its own so that technique works as well. And yes.. you will have many the calisus on your hands doing this. lol

Looks fine to me. Actually looks closed. Mines is pretty sloppy in comparison.

Thanks! That's what I thought..If you would've seen how many times I had to track back and undo a portion cause the pattern was messed up you would 'lol'. One more follow up question. How similar is this (Box weave) to the Byzantine or persian? Asking because I was following a jeweler from Scotland on youtube and he stated its Byzantine and he was using a 2+2 method. I want to be precise with the name when I post my work on social media. Thanks again.
  13. Hello all. By trade im a artisan of beaded jewelry but I wanted more uniqueness for my business so I added bracelet chain to my belt. But my question is, how long on average would you say it takes to make for example a persian (aka Byzantine) bracelet? So far I made one (Photo attached..sorry for large size...comments welcomed) and it literally took me hours (also was following a diy tutorial on youtube). Im going to make a 2nd one now that I believe I know what im doing. Thanks in advance.
