Big order placed. And now the wait begins... and ordering more storage bins to put everything in.

Sweet. How many more will you need for this "big" order?

I have enough space now, but want to get a few more just so I can have one organizer case that is just BA, one that is just copper, one that is just nickel silver, and so on.

Cool. Something I am certain I should look into getting since I am acquiring some rings.

Frustration in still trying to grasp dragonback.

Not quite. Kind of hard to grasp being a lefty. But I will get it sure enough

Its tricky for rightys too. The problem in my experience is you have to master it in mirror image!

Trying. Each day I spend a little time working on it. Eventually I will catch on.

I think I'd have to say that joining ends of a tight box chain to form a continuous loop is close to the hardest thing I've ever done yet.

Not quite sure exactly. Had to get this part done first, just to see if it was even possible.

No crystals.. please. A great piece of agate or carnelian would look nice if you go for a dangle.

Ah that would be excellent if only I knew someone like that. Yes being a leftie has some rather grand benefits. Still there are some major drawbacks. Finding that most "patterns" are in right handed views. Flipping and grasping tends to be truly the "test" of patience.

Brejao Flowers is one of my favourites. Great choice, especially in anodised niobium, it's gonna look amazing!

Yeah that will be for me. My client said no to the Niobium. I am making the flowers for me next pay period.

My friend is moving. My first reaction and sad thoughts were concerning his mandrel and saw cutting setup he lets me use... does this make me a bad person?

If you do really like your friend, you were probably just left-brainedly thinking of tangible consequences first off before getting to the emotional stuff... I'm like that.

well... That's my hope. I am still very much a novice when it comes to scaling, and I have never attempted an inlay, but I work well with my hands and the samples I made came out well and didn't take too long... so we'll see. Also, by using butted instead of split rings for the small scale inlay I have a feeling it will go a LOT faster. I had a hard time with the split rings on the small scales, but worked great with them on the large scales, which is what my hauberk will be ou...

Absolutely. It would be helpful having a friend close by that also had a collection. Would save having to place an order for a whole ounce of something when you really only need a whopping 10 rings in that size eh?
