What is the max weight piece of chainmail armor you would ever consider making/wearing?
It's heavy but I can usually make 6 hours work comfortably.

My set is /heavy/ yes, however, as may people also said it is supported in multiple places so the weight is evenly carried. My shoulders probably support half of the vest weight (since there is about 12 LBS in the arms) and the 7 lb cloak while a custom sword harness I made that takes the other half of the weight in multiple directions. After over a year off, I think I have thought of a new project. Let's just say a certain someone inspired me :)
Finally moved interstate, 2wks til baby due! Itching to maille but several weeks til all my boxes of rings & wire arrive *fingers crossed not jumbled*!
Monday Feb 16th is a holiday at TRL. We will be enjoying the long weekend with family.
So my website is not near live yet.. but a customer apparently just told her interested gift recipients it would be "in a week"... eeep! worth it to just kludge it together fast??

Loving the fast USPS shipping! Cheaper and Faster! Not loving, accidentally dumping a bag of light champagne 18532 rings in with a container of bright silver ones.
Good luck with your rings - I've got a toddler ring "accident" to sort out myself...
