This used to be a long-sleeve chainmaille shirt I made with a Templar cross in the middle, but I recently heavily modified it to give it a more viking-feel (not historically accurate in ANY way). I changed the sleeve connections to use more of a 90-degree connection pattern, and I shortened the sleeves themselves. I also bought some fake fur material and connected the rings directly through the material to bind it to the shirt at the collar and sleeve ends. The scale vambrace/glove on my left hand is a combination of scale with split rings on the top, and stainless steel rings with rubber rings (to add flex when putting it on and taking it off) on the bottom. Still figuring out a fix to make the vambrace section more rigid so it doesn't slide down my forearm like it has in this photo.

The Black Dragon posted a topic in Maille IndustryI'm looking into making a chainmail suit with long sleeves that I would like to attach some kind of gauntlet to. I'll most likely use the basic 4to1 pattern and I want to know if it is possible to attach a sheet of 16g 5/16" to 16g 1/4" or 18g 3/16" Rings for aesthetic purposes. I'd also like to make sure the 16g 1/4" or 18g 3/16" would be suitable for use with the small scales available on TRL. Thanks you your help!
