HI, for anyone interested in doing Newtonian physics simulations of computer models of chainmaille, I have a free (no monetary cost) way to do it. I'm using second life to simulate the maille. In the attached image, you can see a two-segment piece of full persian created with AR 4.9 approximately. I am finding that the environment of Second Life is very well suited to this task due to the CGI modeling, built-in physics simulation, and scripting features that are available to anyone with an account, and the accounts are free. I would be happy to explain what I am doing here in detail, just please ask any questions and I'll try to reply promptly.
