I'm desperately hoping someone can give me a couple of pointers for how to make my Gracelock go a lot smoother... The Inverted Round Chain was easy enough for me to manufacture, but now that I'm trying to connect the chain bits to each other, I'm having a hell of a time. It seems that the ring wants to bury itself into the chain, allowing me to connect three out of the four associated links each time. Am I doing something wrong? I'm using 18g 1/4" copper wire, and this is supposed to be a necklace/choker with a cast silver 'pendant' but if I can't get the weave itself this particular project is going to go up in smoke!
Help Please!
Gracelock challenges... *sigh*

If it does not come out right you are obviously doing something wrong. The question is what are you doing. It is almost impossible to figure out the issue without pictures. We need to see what you are doing to see what is being done incorrectly. By the way, it appears you are describing a collar (a band around the neck) rather than a choker (a chain the follows the angle between the neck and shoulders) or a necklace (that hangs down from the neck).

Work on it a little use cgmaille.com's tutorial and if your still strugling work on something else.
Chances are good your just trying to hard, and need a change of perspective.
If your still strugling look for someone that can finish the project.
I have done piece work Like that in the past, but someone local can teach you whats going wrong.

Figured out the problem... It goes together a lot easier if you don't try to assemble it flat on a work surface. I have to give you credit Movak, your comment made me re-analyse what I was doing, how I was doing it, and if there was any way to make it a little easier to do. Just another case of my over-thinking things. I'll post a pic once I have the piece finished!
