Veilfras Report post Posted June 13, 2014 Hey guys just finished my first project. Its all doubled up large tempered steel scales with a very dense weave for the spine. I never followed a pattern and havent officially weighed it yet but my guess is around 60-70lb. Please let me know what you think.
lorenzo Report post Posted June 15, 2014 Looks good overall. Very nice looking work on the spine, fitting on the torso is excellent. The sleeves could use a bit of work, looks like you had to make them overly large to get enough mobility. I'd get rid of those scales bunched up in the underarm, they aren't doing you any favours, better to just use straight rings for that area. 1 Veilfras reacted to this

Veilfras Report post Posted June 17, 2014 (edited) Ok I'll tear those sleeves apart and do a chainmail underarm, I like that idea thanks for the input. Edited June 17, 2014 by Veilfras

Veilfras Report post Posted December 6, 2014 Ya go for it lol. The worst part was getting it to line up right on my shoulder and attaching it so it can break away if SHTF.
