Rob MacLennan Report post Posted February 16, 2017 Look at the "customer images" and I think it will explain everything. 1 BadKitty reacted to this
losthelm Report post Posted February 16, 2017 Lower quality Import from India, china, or Pakistan. The vendor may not have ever actually made the product. images are often barrowed from another vendor or social media. Alibaba and eBay have a lot of "medieval armour" from a dozen vendors using the same stock image.

Alibaba and eBay have a lot of "medieval armour" from a dozen vendors using the same stock image. It looks like the image may have been taken from a place like Medieval Collectibles. The actual piece is quite different; maybe 3/8" - 1" rings of soft galvy fence steel, from the reviews and pictures, though even that seems to vary. Poor assembly. Pulls apart when worn. Reports of ordering two shirts the same size, but receiving widely different sizing.
KrombopulosMichael Report post Posted February 16, 2017 nice sherlocking, did you use tineye? lol I know it's going to be garbage quality but isn't 20 pounds of steel worth more than $70!?! 1 BadKitty reacted to this
Rob MacLennan Report post Posted February 16, 2017 I only use Tineye to see if someone is ripping off my own pictures A large part of the cost in materials like that is the labour to warehouse and move it around. If you're paying your people dirt per hour and maybe $5.00 per shirt via piecework, you can make a shirt for $70.00. It'll be crappy because people rush to complete as many as possible, cutting corners, but it's a vaguely shirt-like object.
